Alexander Rusich, Chairman
Founder and Chief Visionary Officer, LiveOffice

Taking companies from their early development phases and guiding them through high growth is Alexander Rusich's specialty. He has spent more than 15 years as chief executive officer at two startup companies, where he demonstrated his ability to build profitable companies in markedly different sectors. A seasoned technology expert, Alexander has developed and launched a variety of technology products and services to meet the latest demands of the business world. He has spearheaded the engineering and development of a range of software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions designed to not only meet compliance needs but also increase worker productivity. Prior to cofounding LiveOffice, Alexander served as chief executive officer of Manhattan Analytics, Inc., a developer of fund analysis solutions for individual and institutional investors. Alexander holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
Matthew Smith
Founder, President and Chief Operating Officer, LiveOffice

Matthew Smith's entrepreneurial spirit and multidisciplinary experience in marketing, sales and operations have been instrumental in helping LiveOffice position itself as a formidable player in the software-as-a-service (SaaS) industry. A leading force in the company's long-term growth strategy, Matthew has proven expertise in designing and improving subscription-based business models for maximum growth and profit. Matthew is a veteran of the message archiving industry, spending the last decade providing organizations with innovative technology solutions to properly archive emails and meet stringent regulatory compliance requirements. Today he continues to oversee the launch of new technology products to meet demands for message management solutions as the need for outsourced email hosting and archiving continues to expand. Matthew is a sought-after expert on electronic messaging and has been quoted in several national publications. Prior to cofounding LiveOffice, Matthew cofounded Manhattan Analytics, a developer of fund analysis solutions for individual and institutional investors, where he served as executive vice president of marketing. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
Nick Mehta
Chief Executive Officer, LiveOffice

As CEO of LiveOffice, Nick Mehta's focus is on continuing to grow LiveOffice's market leadership in the software-as-a-service messaging industry. Serving in senior operating roles for public and private companies in the enterprise and consumer technology markets for much of his career, Nick has built a well-respected reputation in the email and messaging industry. He spent more than five years at Symantec Corporation (NASDAQ: SYMC) and Veritas Software Corporation (acquired by Symantec in 2005), where he served as vice president and general manager of the Enterprise Vault (formerly KVS) information archiving and discovery software business from its acquisition in 2004 until 2007. During this time, the business grew from $23 million in annual sales in 2004 to more than $200 million in 2007 and received recognition from ESG, Gartner, Forrester, IDC and Radicati as being the leading product in the "on-premise" email archiving market. Nick has also held other roles leading product management for all email-related businesses at Symantec and previously for CommandCentral, a suite of storage management solutions.

Prior to Veritas, Nick ran product management at XDegrees, a venture-funded storage software startup which was acquired by Microsoft. Before that, Nick cofounded his first business during college in the mid 1990s, a venture-funded online golf retailer called Chipshot.com that became one of the top 20 online retailers of its time. Most recently, Nick served as an entrepreneur-in-residence at venture capital firm Trinity Ventures.

Nick holds a Bachelor's degree in Biochemical Sciences and a Master's degree in Computer Science from Harvard University.

On a personal note, Nick loves watching football, playing (flag) football and coaching (fantasy football). Nick is a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan, is married to another die-hard fan and is raising a new (2-year-old) die-hard fan. Visit Nick's Blog
Susan Carstensen
Chief Operating Officer, RightNow Technologies

Susan Carstensen is chief operating officer of RightNow Technologies, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions company built to seamlessly integrate sales force automation software, enterprise marketing automation and customer service solutions to ensure customer loyalty and profitability. A 19-year veteran of corporate financial management, Susan oversees RightNow's finance, information technology and human resource divisions, and she serves on the company's executive management team. She joined RightNow in 1999 following five years at Powerhouse Technologies, a $200-million publicly traded diversified gaming technology company. At Powerhouse, Susan held various positions in finance and audit, advancing to chief financial officer in 1997. She was a key player in the organization's financial turnaround, culminating in the 1999 sale of the company.
Greg Goldfarb
Principal, Summit Partners

Greg Goldfarb is a principal with Summit Partners, a leading venture capital and private equity firm with more than $9 billion under management. Greg specializes in growth equity investments in the information technology, Internet and financial services industries. In addition to his role on the LiveOffice board, he also has additional board directorships and investments that include ProClarity Corporation, Intellichem, Inc., Web Reservations International and The Mutual Fund Store. Prior to joining Summit Partners, Greg served as director of the Innovation Lab at Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, where he was responsible for developing new technology-based businesses for the company. Greg received an A.B. degree in government, magna cum laude, from Harvard University.
Steve Jillings
President and CEO, Vantage Media

Steve Jillings is president and CEO of Vantage Media and the former president and CEO of FrontBridge Technologies, where he was responsible for taking the company from a startup to a global leader in managed messaging services. Tasked with driving the company's strategic direction and growth, Steve built a world-class management team focused on execution. Raising $28 million in three rounds of funding allowed the team to build a broad portfolio of services combined with the largest global distribution footprint in the managed messaging space. The growth and accomplishments in that timeframe led to the successful sale of the company to Microsoft in August 2005. Steve has more than 20 years of business-building experience, specifically in the areas of corporate finance, sales, marketing and technology. Prior to FrontBridge, Steve was a cofounder and executive vice president of Voyus, a recurring revenue IT services company based in Vancouver, B.C. Steve has been responsible for seven startups throughout his career, taking them from inception to commercialization and eventual liquidity.
Mark Long
Chief Financial Officer, LiveOffice

Mark Long joined LiveOffice in 2007 to help facilitate Summit Partners' minority investment in the company. He currently serves as chief financial officer and is responsible for planning the company's overall financial strategy as LiveOffice expands into new markets. Mark also oversees day-to-day financial and accounting operations. In addition, he serves as managing director of VisionPoint Capital, providing mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance services to clients in the software and Internet sectors. Mark began his career in investment banking at Deutsche Bank Securities and Credit Suisse First Boston. He has extensive experience in the financial and software industries and has held executive positions at Aidant Capital, SageMetrics and Intraware. Mark holds an MBA, with high distinction, and a JD, cum laude, from the University of Michigan as well as a BA from the University of Arizona.
Harrison Miller
Managing Director, Summit Partners

Harrison Miller is a managing director with Summit Partners, a leading global private equity and venture capital firm. He has extensive experience working with SaaS companies to help them grow and expand into new markets, and most recently worked with email security company Postini until its acquisition by Google. Prior to rejoining Summit Partners in 2003 (he was previously an associate with the firm from 1988 to 1990), Harrison was vice president and general manager of platform services at Amazon.com, where he led the creation of an enterprise services business that became the company's most profitable segment in 2002. Prior to that, he was a founding management team member at Lightspan Inc., an e-learning leader selling software and Internet-delivered services to institutions, where he helped build the company from a concept to $25 million in sales before taking it public. Harrison holds an A.B. degree, cum laude, from Princeton University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
