TORRANCE, Calif., December 19, 2007 LiveOffice AdvisorMail, a leading provider of hosted messaging, archiving, security and compliance solutions in the financial services industry, today announced that its email archiving solution is already helping independent broker-dealers meet recently issued guidance from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) on the proper review and supervision of electronic communications (Regulatory Notice 07-59).

"Since 2001 we have provided financial services organizations with the tools they need to meet and exceed the regulatory requirements surrounding electronic communications," said Matt Smith, president of LiveOffice. "Working hand in hand with the nation's leading broker-dealers has provided us with a thorough understanding of the complexities they face in managing electronic communications. Organizations trust AdvisorMail because it keeps them a step ahead of stringent government regulations, streamlines compliance department workflow and helps maintain compliance with internal policies."

With deployments in 65% of the nation's top independent broker-dealers, the AdvisorMail solution offers a variety of tools to help firms ensure proper supervision of emails, attachments and instant messages, while also significantly reducing administrative oversight time. Many FINRA-registered firms have already made AdvisorMail an important part of their best practices for managing electronic communications, taking advantage of robust features that include:

The system is also able to capture and store messages sent via wireless mobile devices, such as BlackBerry and Palm handhelds.

Lexicon-based review and random sampling: Developed in conjunction with the nation's leading compliance consultants, AdvisorMail provides a	pre-populated lexicon of words and phrases specific to the financial services industry. All messages and attachments are scanned by the system in pre- or post-review mode, and any suspect messages are immediately flagged for further review. In addition, random sampling capabilities and false-positive settings are fully customizable, allowing administrators to set parameters that meet their firms' policies.

Management reports: AdvisorMail's detailed reporting capabilities provide snapshot views of message volumes in the archive, auditor activity (including login activity) and email activity.
LiveOffice Cuts Oversight Time For Emails By 95%

TORRANCE, Calif., May 15, 2007 AdvisorMail, the division of LiveOffice Managed Messaging Services focused on financial services companies, today announced the availability of an updated package of web-based management reports that streamline compliance department workflow and improve productivity levels for large organizations required to review their electronic messages in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Existing clients indicate that AdvisorMail's updated reporting capabilities have reduced auditor oversight time by 95%, transforming their traditional, half-day audit process into a virtually instant activity. The latest features provide information on relevant message activity by regional office, auditor and end user to facilitate audit preparation, auditor performance reviews and compliance risk identification. Approved personnel in the corporate office	have the ability to customize each report according to time period, regional office, auditor or archive user. All reports, which can be printed or exported to a spreadsheet, provide supervisors with a real-time snapshot on compliance oversight activities related to the daily volumes of emails and IMs that flow in and out of their organization.

"The vast majority of the nation's independent broker-dealers trust LiveOffice to provide them with best-of-breed email archiving, compliance and eDiscovery capabilities that improve corporate productivity, while meeting stringent regulatory requirements," said Asma Ghobriel, customer relationship manager for the AdvisorMail division. "AdvisorMail's updated reporting capabilities are a value-added service for our large clients and enable them to directly respond	to NASD's increased scrutiny of firms' email review processes at both the field and corporate levels."

AdvisorMail's new management reports respond to the unique needs of organizations with multiple compliance auditors. The new suite provides views of the following email compliance functions:

Archive Activity These reports summarize email archive activity at the regional office level and provide detailed information on message volumes throughout the organization. They also aggregate information on the status of each email (reviewed, compliant, etc.) in the system and give percentages on the total number of messages assigned to and/or awaiting review by the compliance department.

Auditor Activity (including login activity) These reports serve as a productivity management tool, providing reviewers with an effective method for managing their workload. They also help to streamline compliance workflow in busy departments where electronic record volume is exceptionally high, while improving overall productivity levels.

Email Activity These reports alert auditors to an individual user whose email content is exposing the broker-dealer to unnecessary liability and also help to flag repeat offenders.

LiveOffice's AdvisorMail meets all regulatory requirements for the proper handling of emails, attachments, Bloomberg messages and IMs. Used by 65% of the nation's top independent broker-dealers and hundreds of registered investment advisory (RIA) firms, AdvisorMail aggregates all inbound, outbound, internal messages and attachments in an easily searchable database and provides search and retrieval (eDiscovery) capabilities that help organizations comply with SEC, NASD, and NYSE regulations related to electronic records management.

LiveOffice Recognizes Earth Day by Restoring 125,000 Square Feet of Rainforest

TORRANCE, Calif., April 16, 2007 LiveOffice Corporation's Managed Messaging Services, the leading provider of on-demand messaging security, archiving and compliance solutions, today announced that in honor of Earth Day the company will help restore 125,000 square feet of rainforest through its philanthropic contribution to the Arbor Day Foundation.<br />
<br />
With Earth Day approaching on April 22, corporations are taking a close look at how the basic, everyday habits of their employees directly impact the environment. "Today, you can't be a responsible citizen without recognizing the effects our actions are having on the planet," said Matt Smith, president, LiveOffice. "Take emails for example - think about how many of those we print out in hard copy each day and the affect that must be having on our forests."<br />
<br />
The Radicati Group estimates that approximately 541 million workers worldwide rely on email communications to conduct business, and each worker sends and receives, on average, 133 messages per day. "If each of these 541 million workers prints and stores as few as five emails per day it would consume more than 6,000 trees a day. That adds up to more than two million trees every year," said Smith. "The good news is that there are options for preserving emails that don't require printing hard copies. With digital archiving technology, companies can archive messages online or offline, for as long as they like, and still allow their employees to access the messages any time necessary."<br />
<br />
According to the National Academy of Science, every year 20 million hectares of rainforest - an area the size of the states of New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts and New Jersey combined - are cut down, releasing millions of tons of carbon emissions into the atmosphere. The good news is that tree conservation can have a significant and positive impact on the environment as a whole. According to the Arbor Day Foundation, "over the course of 50 years, a single tree can generate $31,250 of oxygen, provide $62,000 worth of air pollution control, recycle $37,500 worth of water, and control $31,500 worth of soil erosion."<br />

New On-Demand Email Management Portal, Aggressive Channel Strategy Position LiveOffice For Rapid Growth

TORRANCE, Calif., April 9, 2007 LiveOffice Corporation's Managed Messaging Services, the leading provider of on-demand messaging security, archiving and compliance solutions, today introduced its Sentinel portal, a web-based administration console that gives organizations fingertip-access to search and retrieve (eDiscovery) archived messages, while providing real-time dashboard views of inbound threats, email volumes and storage utilization. The company also unveiled an aggressive channel strategy that positions LiveOffice for rapid growth during the next 36 months.

"We are the leading message archiving service in the financial services industry which today represents most of our revenue. With our enhanced email management solutions now available to all businesses, we anticipate that by 2010 more than 50 percent of our revenues will be derived from verticals outside financial services. This new strategy positions us for significant growth during the next 24 to 36 months," said Matt Smith, president of LiveOffice. "As an example of what we've accomplished in just the first quarter of this year, our partnership with Secure Computing has exponentially expanded the reach of our sales force. In total, we estimate that these efforts will lead us to a 50 percent year-over-year growth in revenue from now through 2010."

LiveOffice's new client portal acts as mission control for the Sentinel platform, putting administrators just a few clicks away from real-time, graphical views of their entire organization's email activities, from threat levels to archive usage and much more. The portal also provides	administrators with advanced reporting capabilities, enabling them to instantly create comprehensive snapshots of usage statistics categorized by day, week or month.

"We're using Web 2.0 technology to provide our clients with a real-time, crystal clear view of their organization's email activity at any given second," said Alan Akahoshi, LiveOffice's product manager. "Sentinel combines the best of both worlds by giving administrators ultimate control over their threat levels and storage utilization, while leaving the hardware management and maintenance headaches to a trusted service provider like LiveOffice."

"In the past, businesses grappled with the challenge of moving to a software as a service (SaaS) model for email management because of concerns over giving up control over the company's most critical communication tool," said Michael Osterman, president of Osterman Research. "With the launch of the Sentinel client portal, LiveOffice has alleviated the anxiety often associated with outsourcing email management activities and presented companies with an attractive option for threat protection, archiving, encryption and compliance in a single, integrated platform."

The release of the Sentinel client portal coincides with the launch of LiveOffice's aggressive 2007 channel partner initiative. The program's components include expansion of the company's domestic sales force, and an associate and value-added reseller (VAR) program that includes attractive partner pricing incentives for organizations looking to expand their messaging capabilities.

With deep roots in the financial services sector, LiveOffice already securely manages millions of messages every day for the nation's largest and most respected companies. LiveOffice's Sentinel platform leverages the company's proven track record in message archiving and streamlines all essential email management activities into a single managed service offering.

All services are available as standalone solutions and include:

Protection from inbound messaging threats such as spam, virus and phishing attacks

Advanced search and retrieval features that enable administrators to find one or multiple digitally archived messages in just seconds, whether for eDiscovery requests or audits

Message encryption to ensure that sensitive information isn't intercepted as it travels over the internet to the intended recipient

Compliance and policy management capabilities that help organizations ensure employees are adhering to regulatory and/or internal guidelines regarding appropriate email and instant message content

The examinations have included internal policy reviews as well as requests from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) and other regulatory bodies.

"Each function of AdvisorMail is specifically designed to make the process of monitoring, archiving and retrieving message data as easy as possible for compliance and IT professionals, whether they are part of a large broker-dealer, a registered investment advisory firm or a hedge fund," said Matt Smith, president of LiveOffice. "This 2,500-audit milestone validates the ability of our system to smooth the way for a successful audit."

Clients credited several AdvisorMail search and retrieval capabilities in helping them produce the data needed to comply with requests from internal auditors and regulators. The organizations surveyed cited AdvisorMail's ability to:

Quickly conduct searches and review results online Auditors and internal compliance personnel cited the power of AdvisorMail's online user interface to facilitate advanced multi-criteria searches as well as the ability to review the search results online at any time.

Conveniently download message data directly from an in-house PC to a non-rewritable DVD In the case of requests for small to medium-sized data samples, compliance officers valued the ability to search, zip and download data directly to their desktop PC and then quickly copy the data to a non-rewritable DVD for sharing with the auditor.

Minimize compliance department workload by providing auditors with read-only access to select messages Many compliance officers cited the advantages of providing internal auditors or regulators with read-only web access to review messages, instead of downloading the messages to non-rewritable DVDs.

Reduce IT department workload by allowing large data requests to be offloaded to LiveOffice staff When asked to conduct large and complex downloads of message data, organizations cited the benefits of forwarding these requests to LiveOffice for processing rather than fulfilling them in-house. LiveOffice returns the requested data on DVD within 48 hours or two business days.

Supports Increase in Boolean Search Requests

AdvisorMail's ability to quickly conduct both simple and complex searches on large volumes of emails, email attachments and instant message transcripts has proved to be especially important to a rise in regulators' Boolean search requests. In this type of search, a regulator may ask a compliance department to produce all email messages sent between a specific date range that contain a word such as "guarantee" within at least five words of the word "money." LiveOffice data indicates that more regulators are asking for these complex searches, rather than simpler requests such as email messages sent to and from a specific email address over a stated data range.

LiveOffice is the only company to offer a total solution for the secure handling of email and instant messages, including advanced anti-spam and anti-virus protection, encryption, traffic management and business continuity. The company's managed service model eliminates the need for clients to purchase any hardware or software to deploy the system, resulting in significant cost savings and fast implementation.

LiveOffice to Offer Secure Computings Messaging Security as a Hosted Security Service

TORRANCE, Calif. and SAN JOSE, Calif., February 26, 2007 LiveOffice Corporation, the leading provider of managed messaging security, archiving and compliance solutions, and Secure Computing Corporation (Nasdaq: SCUR), a global leader in enterprise gateway security today announced an agreement to offer Secure Computing's award-winning IronMail solution as a hosted service through LiveOffice's Managed Messaging Services platform. This significantly expands access to Secure Computing's enterprise-class messaging gateway security solution, making it available to companies that do not have the resources to manage messaging security on-site.

"Faced with the growing onslaught of email spam and related security issues, companies large and small are looking for the best security protection available in the market," said Jay Chaudhry, vice chairman and chief strategy officer of Secure Computing. "With our partnership with LiveOffice, we are happy to be offering our enterprise class messaging security products to a broader cross-section of companies that typically would not consider a solution of our caliber. LiveOffice provides them the convenience of hosting the service as well as expertise in managing the solution."

According to Secure Computing and the email traffic seen by TrustedSource.org, spam volume was as high as 90% of all email in December 2006. With businesses of all sizes receiving a constant barrage of potentially harmful inbound messaging threats, integrating Secure Computing IronMail within LiveOffice's unified messaging environment provides companies with:

A powerful and cost effective method for controlling the daily influx of unwanted email messages

Rapid setup and deployment (often in under a week) with expertise from LiveOffice

Enterprise-class protection against messaging threats with no upfront investment in hardware, software or maintenance

Ongoing, U.S.-based customer support

Enterprise-class network reliability and security via LiveOffice's multi-million dollar data center infrastructure

For no additional cost, service subscribers also receive access to LiveOffice's proprietary Client Dashboard, a password-protected, web-based portal that helps businesses manage their own spam and virus filters. The interface also provides instant access to LiveOffice's Threat Management Dashboard, where messaging threat levels can be monitored and the appropriate action determined. The portal's flexibility means that organizations can tailor the Client Dashboard to meet the specific needs of their corporate structure and enjoy the following benefits:

Up-to-date information on email activity and potential threats

Real-time (Ajax-based) usage graphs showing email volumes and patterns that can be used to customize spam and virus filters

Information on intercepted messaging threats by day, week, month and year

Statistics that indicate email usage by individuals or according to domain name

Automated options for whitelisting and blacklisting

"This partnership creates many exciting opportunities for LiveOffice and Secure Computing," said Matt Smith, president of LiveOffice. "Coupling Secure Computing's technology and products with our hosting, management, and archiving capabilities gives users in all industries a comprehensive messaging security solution that is convenient to manage."

FRCP Amendments Will Have Major Impact on Handling of Electronic Data

TORRANCE, Calif., February 13, 2007 A recent Osterman Research white paper entitled "The Impact of the New FRCP Amendments on Your Business" and co-sponsored by LiveOffice Managed Messaging Services finds that the newly adopted amendments to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure (FRCP) will have a major impact on the way organizations manage electronic data, such as emails and instant messages. The amendments, which went into effect on December 1, 2006, require organizations that operate within the United States to manage their electronic data so that it can be produced in a timely and complete manner if necessary, such as during legal discovery proceedings.

"If an organization can have a civil lawsuit filed against it, then the FRCP should figure prominently in that organization's data management strategy," said Michael Osterman, founder and principal of Osterman Research. "Data retention is now a legal obligation that can carry with it serious consequences if managed poorly. We believe that the most logical method for storing emails and instant messages is an archiving system,
such as the one offered by LiveOffice, which can satisfy all discovery requirements."

The study found that traditional tape backup methods for storing electronic information may prove insufficient for a number of reasons, including:

Lack of indexing capabilities, which means that recovering information to satisfy a discovery order could prove time-consuming, burdensome to IT personnel and expensive

Corrupted backup tapes that are unreadable, making it impossible to recover previously stored data

Inability of backups to capture information created or deleted between scheduled backups

As an alternative to traditional tape backups, LiveOffice Managed Messaging Services is a fully automated archiving system that provides companies with a long-term and effective solution for capturing emails and instant messages. LiveOffice satisfies FRCP discovery requirements by enabling organizations of all sizes to:

Store and index emails, email attachments and instant messages in a single, highly searchable repository

Set pre-determined policies so that the archive is populated with pertinent messages that are automatically organized and categorized

Easily search and produce data in the event of a discovery request

Manage and optimize server storage space

Access messages using LiveOffice's business continuity and disaster recovery features regardless of the status of the in-house mail server
