Email archiving implementations
There are four stages required to complete an email archiving implementation, and many implementation projects can be finished in as little as one to two weeks.

Stage 1: Analysis and Design
Prior to your implementation, our CloudLaunch team asks you to gather information to help us define your project requirements, including legacy data upload needs. In this phase, we request statistics on your email usage, including average email size, total number of emails and age of emails.

Stage 2: Project Configuration
During this phase, your LiveOffice CloudLaunch team gathers the critical information required for proper configuration of your email solution. This may include server names, office hierarchy, journaling addresses, DNS aliases, etc.

Stage 3: Updates, Training and Review “Go Live”
At this stage, your project manager introduces you to your account management team, which is available for inquiries, questions and training after your implementation project is complete. The LiveOffice CloudLaunch team also goes through a number of steps to ensure a successful launch and adoption by your end users.

Stage 4: Production and Legacy Data Upload
Once your solution is up and running, the LiveOffice CloudLaunch team audits its performance through a series of tests to ensure that the number of messages entering the system is the number that’s expected. After we confirm that all systems are operating properly, we then start migrating and ingesting legacy data (if required) into your email archive. Depending on the amount of legacy data, this process can take a few days or several weeks, but we assess these needs in Stage 1, so there shouldn’t be any surprises.
